The reason for ignition shielding is strictly to prevent ignition noise from getting into the sound being produced by your radio. If you have a more modern radio which has better noise rejection capabilities than the old Delco units, you may not even need shielding.

It came with the car so I want to add it to make it appear more stock. I am also adding a Sniper fuel injection and they have trouble with RF signals from the plug wires and the computer. So adding the shield may help.
Paragon Corvette sells what you need. Looks like part number 3295K in their catalog. You may want to consider their 3293K for 68-70 since it has the box that goes around the distributor and coil.
