The whole document wasn't posted, only one diagram of the vacuum hoses for a 77 and none of the schematic diagrams. I deleted a few of the typed pages but can delete all of it if necessary...
i think vacuum is good in small doses. heater controls, air doors, etc. still used today. but when pulling open big stuff. headlights, wiper doors... VACUUM SUCKS!
If all is working as it should, vacuum is a lightweight way to go, but unfortunately father time plays havoc and causes leaks. I think the real reason electrical servos and motors are better than their vacuum counterparts
is that they work when the car is not running. Yes, you can use the vacuum store, but it will only function for a few uses before you have to start the car. On top of this, vacuum lines are bulky compared to electrical lines and take up more room. Was a interesting concept though...
