I don't know what kind of fuel line you have but 125 Psi is waaaay to much . If you have a regular line with standard screw type clamps you are lucky the connection stayed together. That could have resulted in a big boom. What does FiTech have to say about the excessive feel pressure? and what would their ideal pressure be at the throttle body?
The Fitech throttle body has a regulator, should regulate to 43psi (I think?) for the 400hp model and 60 psi for the 600hp model like I have. How much fuel is coming out the return into the bucket when you are measuring 100psi at the inlet to the throttle body?

Heavy flow of fuel. FI-tech said there is a by-pass when pressure is to high. FI-tech said fuel pump is bad sending a new one. Hope that solves the problem. I am optimistic because it did run great for a couple of months then it started having problems and fuel pump got louder.
That's is unusual that a pump would increase pressure more than it was made to flow. It also shows that FiTech has good customer support for there products. As usual , keep us posted.
Yeh, seems unusual for it to be the pump, I'd be suspecting the regulator personally. The fact that the pump is able to create so much pressure would make me think that the pump is good.
The Fi Tech throttle body has a preset and is non -adjustable fuel pressure regulator built into it. It is set at 58 psi. Now that you have tested with multiple gauges and have verified readings of 125 PSI into the throttle body from the pump and 100 PSI out the return line , the regulator is jammed up also. The new pump should be somewhere in the 60 -80 PSI range which could easily be regulated. I see a new throttle body coming your way also unless the internal regulator can be changed out.

The pump would definitely be louder if the regulator was bad- not releasing the pressure at 43PSI and running all the way to 100.
When you fill up your air compressor- the pump makes a much different sound as tank's pressure goes up- same concept.
I really don't think its the pump....

58psi for 600hp and 1200hp systems, 43psi for 400hp and 800hp systems I believe.

I saw the post, yes I should have read all the reply and assess where you are with your problem. I am an installer for the FiTech system. Can you PM me and let me know where you are? I will re-read your post and assess where I can help. this system is great once the settings are correct.
FI tech sent new fuel pump. Replaced old pum and pressure went down to 85. Car started and seems to run great. Will take it for a long test drive tomorrow and see what happens when it gets hot.
I installed new fuel pump and pressure went down and car seems to work pretty good. I need to adjust a few numbers in program but so far so good. It is funny because I asked for a new fuel pump 6 months ago. Go figure.
