I had a few broken headlight adjusters, and I didn't want to spend the money for a new set. But, no problem is impossible when you have a 3D printer and modeling software!
Got all the shocks changed out.The old ones were toast. They appear to be original. I bought AcDelco gas shocks, and upon arrival, one front and one back were bad out of the box. bit of a discouragement but RockAuto got replacements to me quickly and the car rides beautifully. Rears Fronts
Went into the 200-4R a little bit. took the pump apart, governor off and got a bit of an internal parts list going. Found the 1-2 accumulator spring broken and the separator plate trashed. no big deal. Shift shaft has been broken, but I'm going to machine a new one.

what is the material PLA? ABS?
just now starting to play..there are so many parts on this site that need printing.. like radio delete panels etc..i just cant model, but can print some
fyi my rock auto ac delco gas fronts failed.. the bushing comes out.. saved some money and went bilsteins up front.. they are a superior product..

I typically use PLA for all of my prototyping or light duty prints, I have an excess around. My first three revisions of this part were in PLA, but the clear final version shown is out of PETG, my favorite, its much tougher. (halfway between PLA and ABS, no ABS toxic fumes or warping, stronger and higher heat tolerance than PLA). If you are looking for modeling software, I use Autodesk fusion 360, you can download a hobbyist version for free. Of course, this means among other things legally you cannot sell anything you print, but it sure is useful for personal use.
Thanks for the heads up about the shocks. I got them on sale, wonder why lol. when they go, (in two months) Ill order the Bilsteins. I should've done that from the start, but hindsight is 20/20
Big thanks for reading, and for your help on my tech post a while back. She's still running great, no stumbling!
This weekend, I'm taking the vette from Chicago to Indianapolis, so that will be fun. I spent the whole day today waxing it, making sure its as clean as I can get it. Course it'll get dirty by the end of the block, but it makes me feel good. Tomorrow Ill post up some pics about the prep, and I'm sure that there will be photos when I get to Indy.
Lots of updates, upgrades and progress. So, I never made it to Indy. It was supposed to rain really bad so I took my truck. Very good idea I later found out. Im going to a bunch of shows in the next few weeks so there will be pictures from that. First, a while ago I put in a GMC Yukon rear view mirror that I got for free at the junkyard. Super awesome upgrade, its auto dimming and it has the compass and temperature display. I really really like this in the car because the ever popular crossovers that are all over the road here point their lights directly into this mirror on this car and in the world of HIDs and projector LEDs I was absolutely blinded at night. Fantastic upgrade.
The brakes suck again. Attempt; I lost count, I gave up and ordered new SS sleeved and o ring’ed calipers from wilcox. I had ordered all new suspension for this car and I've been working on it, but I got the last of it done this weekend. New control arm bushings, upper and lower, and new ball joints all around. Sand blasted and painted the control arms while it was apart. Found it not only easier but necessary to pull the radiator and thus the shroud
The temperature sensor is mounted to the front vacuum bar brace right by my headlight relays, and the wire is ran up the drivers fender following the headlight vacuum lines in a vacuum hose I split down the middle. Hides the wires good.

New sunvisors! Old ones had broken support beams inside and the padding got all messed up. Scored some vinyl black repops off ebay, got the firethorn dye from corvette America, new screws, cleaned up my old support rods and got new emissions stickers for both. Super duper happy and pleased with the results. I know they aren't the closest thing to factory but they will do just fine for me Also dyed the steering column. It was all chipped from where the keys have been hitting it for 20 years
also should mention, I did dye over the little chrome pieces in those photos, dont worry I did go back and clean them off. I just didnt see the merit in masking them

Also, about a month ago, I put a huge trans cooler on it, on the front side of the AC condenser. Overkill for the turbo 350, but I got it in anticipation of the 200-4R which it will suit much better. Plus a little more cooling for the THM350 never hurt anyone. I dont have pictures but trust me, its there.
In the spirit of not having pictures to backup work I did, the power window relay died, instead of replacing it with the stock style one (35$) I opted to convert it to a 30/40 5-pin Bosch relay with a socket that I have a ton on hand of. Upgrade? Maybe, but not really. Just a quick fix, and if it ever goes out again, I just have to change the socketed relay
