The project looks great.
It's a 1970 color and called a "Poly" - so a little bit of very fine flake in it but nowhere near a modern metallic. I'm "my guy" so I can reshoot if needed, but I'm pretty confident I can get a good match. I like to blow the whole car apart and paint front and back of everything so if one day one of my cars ends up driving over the cameras at Barrett Jackson the bottom looks just as good as the top.

Radiator support in, painted blue since so much of the front is open now. Bumper going to need some modification and re-chrome, but bottom grill pieces will too. Check out the date I bagged and tagged all my parts - this car deserves to be back on the road and driven till her wheels fall off!

A little late, but I never posted a "Before" pic...I remember this day well, I was experimenting with filters and film speeds in the days before digital photography!

Haven't got to work on it as much as I want to lately, but the tonneau with the C6 rockets and body lines that flow into the scoops looks awesome - can't wait to fit it on the car. Also got motor and trans painted.

Hinges aren't on tonneau yet, but you get the idea...

i did some of that while I was in the Navy, they gave me my own photolab. It was the officers mess pantry...Smaller than a closet...cuz it was ona small submarine...LOL
Then I learned more about exposure while doing photo work In UTah on the mountain. Cool stuff and I love the updates on your car. I want to put the rockets on my rear deck and cut and mold some inlets for a roll bar

Haven't been able to work on the 71 for a couple months, was scrambling to get another car ready for SEMA, which ended up being canceled. My pindrives came in though - need to get back on the Vette fast or these will end up on my '32!

I've been looking for those for my 68. I hope you get them mounted so I can see how beautiful they look on a vette!!!

Are those PS Engineering wheels? I got a similar set back 20 years ago, but couldn't afford the pin drives back then. Love the look of the pin drives though. This is a really cool project, keep up the good work.

I ordered from Vintage Wheels US - took about 8 weeks to come in, but they are real nice. They are ET Wheels, that's a blast from the past.

It's been a while, but finally got to spend some time on this. LS3 and Magnum 6-Speed mounted in the chassis.
