Default 1982 Baldwin Motion ?

Dumb question, did Baldwin build any 1982 Corvettes ? I was at a C & C this morning and there was an 82 with BM stickers on it and the trademark single center stripe. The owner had just purchased the car and had no idea what it was, not sure if he had something special or just a cool "tribute" car.

The last Motion Phase III type Corvette was sold in 74. In 74 Motion Performance ran afoul of Federal emission regulations, and was forced by the EPA to give up production of modified cars. Motion did continue to build cars after 74, but these were mainly body kits, with very few performance upgrades. The last Motion Corvettes built were the Can Am Spyders, that were basically a Motion built version of the Greenwood wide body, built from about 76-79.

I remember he was modifying cars into the mid 80s such as the 84/85ish Monte Carlo Aeros and things.

This isn’t a “Baldwin” invoiced car but could very well be a “Motion Performance” corvette.

The last invoiced “Baldwin-Motion” phase III Corvette is probably that blue/white 74 coupe that’s been seen in the mags for many years.
