I'm going to be replacing my header bar on my 72 and am curious if one set of the SEM adhesive cartridges will be sufficient to do the job. I dont want to run out but dont want extra as I wont use it for anything else. Thanks
I use about a half of a 7 oz. SEM 39747 Dual-Mix SEM 39747 Multi-Purpose Panel Adhesive cartridge to do mine and a lot of it squished out the edges that also helped bond the header bar to the bonding strip.
I bought a bag of extra mixing nozzles and have found many other uses for the remainder. I just clean up the cartridge head after used and re-installed the dual cap for storage.
I’ve taken some photos and will post when done. My rivets are all out. Contrary to what most write ups have said, I was able to get them out by removing the headlight assemblies thru the front grilles. I did not remove the hood, radiator or A/C condenser. Did all the work from the bottom. I am not painting the car and my paint is excellent. The rivets have been out two days and the bumps have all flattened out. I’m really pleased with the result so far.

Looking forward to the photos...
How many hours do you think you have in the job?
