Default kick panels slightly different

Hello,
I have a 1969 car and I noticed that the passenger side kick panel is slightly different from the drivers side kick panel. Is this correct? The difference I notice is that the passenger side panel has a vertical piece (rib) in the horizontal slat section of the oval whereas the drivers side oval does not have this "rib" present . I hope this is explained clearly, it is just that I was not sure if the car came that way or one of the panels is not correct for a 69--although the part number on the back is correct according to the 69 assembly manual. Also, the 69 assembly manual shows a picture of the passenger side panel and it shows the vertical rib in the horizontal slat section of the oval and a horizontal rib in the vertical slat section. It does not show the drivers side panel at all, which is why I am asking if the drivers side panel is the same as the passenger side . I never seen for sale drivers side kick panel with the horizontal and or vertical ribs in the slat area as is on the passenger side panel.

I think the horizontal rib was there because part of the panel is cut away on convertible cars for the brace.

Air conditioning removes the top half of that panel grille.

My car does not have air conditioning nor is it a convertible. I do not know how to post pictures, it would help a lot as I would show both panels and indicate the difference between the right side and left side panels.

Part of the right-side panel is cut-out from the factory. It is in that 'oval' area toward the upper-front of the piece (as it sits in the car). Those are 'meant' for A/C cars; but if that's what the line had available, that's what would be installed.

Here are the two configurations for the passenger panel. You can see where the panel is trimmed away for A/C cars.
