I was just kidding based on the Ford / Chevy rivalry of my yute... (60s-early 70s) and I think its hard to find someone today who does not like a 67-8 stang.... But I have to say, the last part of your quote would have been debated by the Camaro owners of that period...lol ... and those wheels would have looked terrible on a 69...(Yeah I'm a camaro guy!)

Oh, that Camaro-Mustang rivalry continues to this day. I remember the dark days of the 1980’s when one side or the other would get excited because the new model year boasted 5 more horsepower.

I had a 1969 BOSS 302 that I restored back in the 1980’s! Acapulco Blue, light blue interior, front & rear spoilers 4 speed close ratio top loader, 12 to 1 pistons and 3:90 to 1 Traction loc!
I told my wife that if we hadn’t had kids, I would have had a 1969 Z/28 in light blue with the white strips sitting next to the BOSS in the garage!
I like Chevy’s a tad bit better than Fords but not by much!

You’ll have a hard time finding any special width CRAGAR’s or Keystones because CRAGAR now owns them and they have closed their custom shop where they made the wider rims for people. I wanted to get set a 15 by 10 CRAGAR SS rims for my 1972 cutlass 442 with a 5 1/2 inch backspacing and I can’t find them anywhere. When I talk to CRAGAR a month or so ago they said they didn’t know if or when the custom shop would ever open up again.
