Dont dislike the mountains. We raised our kids in the Florida Keys, then lived in Teton Valley Idaho for many years, but the winters became too long and brutal. WNC is a good compromise.
Moved out of NY many years ago and don't miss shoveling snow at all. We get an occasional dusting. I think we had an inch last year. Moved to a town near Columbia SC on a large lake and keep my boat on a lift all year long. You never know when you might want to take a ride. A little chilly today, it's around 50. Took photo today.
Tuesday we got about 5" of heavy wet snow. Sun on Wednesday helped melt some off the driveway after I plow it.
A bit more snow today. Maybe about 1" to 2" more thru the night.
The C3 is away in hibernation, but the daily is nearly ready! Winter floor mats, ice scraper, -30 rated windshield washer fluid, and winter tires going on next week. Fun to whip shitties in the meantime though.
