I kid you not, the last engine was angry enough! If this one is worse, Lord help us!
...tell me about it! his old motor is busy trying to tear my car apart! I have new rattles I never had before. The one time I ran it with open headers, the wipers kept turning on
I don't have open sidepipes like Olivier does. The chambered exhaust is bad enough. I'm gonna quiet it down and get cutouts for the track. I live 2 blocks from the police station .
impact wrenches are dirt cheap from Harbor Freight, mine is over 15 years old and still pounding away. If you don't have a compressor, then Sears or maybe HF sell electric ones, or U-rentum. I think you will have trouble using the pipe...no room for leverage
George, right now I don't want to spend any extra money on tools... I'm way over budget on the new setup already.. Instead of spending the expected $15k on my new setup (engine, transmission, 12-bolt IRS kit + axle kit), I'm closer to 20k

HOLY COW!!! And I thought I was spending big cash on my setup this winter. I'm glad to hear it's going along nicely.

Well - the out of pocket expense isn't that high.. Sold my engine setup for $2300 and just found a buyer for the tranny/carbon fiber shafts/yokes setup for $2600.. I also got several people interested in my carbon fiber half shafts for $450...
$20000 - $5350 = $14750 out of pocket expense...
The total expense includes the cost for the rollbar too!!
