...and here's a snippet where the owner of above shop describes himself (no I'm not making this up. This is copy-n-paste from their website). I would be very interested in their response to this thread.

I have been in the Corvette and Muscle cars business for over 20 years. All my success is because of my Lord and Savior (Born again in January 1977). Through God, all things are possible. Through him my code of ethics is simple: be honest, trustworthy, caring and compassionate to others. Also, treat people as you want to be treated and for that he allowed me to prosper and be successful in all I do.
[QUOTE=BBShark]Twin Turbo is right. I live about 4 miles from this dealer. I also regularly attend the Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale (not as a buyer, just a looker). The dealer represents themselves as religious, honest people and I have never heard anything bad about them. They have some nice cars at about 20% more than what they are worth.
Religion has become a sales technique, My Mother is a preacher but she did not encourage her parishoners to vote for Bush in this last election. How ever about 90% of the people who did vote for Bush, that I came in contact with, explained to me their reasoning was simply told, that their church believed that President Bush was a good Christian man.
With the slash and burn econimy that is being put in place I would expect to see many more blatent examples of "Lie, Cheat, And steal" They go hand in hand. Ethics have taken a back seat to profit. A loaf of bread shouldn't cost $3.00 and a Corvette shouldn't cost $150,000 but they do. Everyone wonts to be Bill Gates, and if they can do it with a loaf of bread, or a corvette.............Protect yourself.
How do we know the original(supposed) yellow, small block was original. Its possible that it was black 427 car. Just a thought. Let the dealer have his say.
You know,,, That is a possibility,,,, could very well be,,, Peace, Craig
By "auctioneer", I mean the person who is calling the auction. They are reading copy given to them. The "auctioner" (in this case B-J). B-J probably should represent these cars better but has signed waivers from the owners (no reserve contract).
.
Opps. Sorry. I should have been more careful reading.
Have been following this thread because so much of this goes on. If this turns out to be fraud it's has to be the biggest and most elaborate. As was stated previously someone took great pains with the wording and it's also strange to blur the name on the trailer. If you have a car like this and it's legit I would think you would want your name out there.
