You need to use the LS1 alternator. It plugs right into the harness. If you're keeping power steering, you'll probably want to do the exact same setup that Budman has. Jeff and I have no PS so we could move the alternator without worrying about the pump.

I wasn't able to get the passenger's side vette manifold to work because it hit the idler arm. I already had on the driver's side vette manifold so I just left it and run one of each.

How did you setup your pulley system? are you using a/c? if so the factory compressor or the LS1 compressor?
