Update. I went to the police station to find out the noise laws. None between 8am and 10 pm. I told the officer the situation he said nothing could be done about him complaining and they could do nothing unless they had many complaints and sent it to the prosecutor for evaluation. I went over to the neighbors today and talked to the wife. She had a 3 week old and knew about my car and knew about last weekend . Said she was not home but her husband was and that there wasnt a problem with it. No hard feelings over here she said.I asked if there was a time she was trying to put the little one down for a nap and she said it didnt matter to her it wasnt a problem?Will see. At least I have tried to be polite.

I'm glad you went over and talked with them.
We are blessed to have great neighbours. The first thing we did after we got all moved in was to throw a huge neighbourhood party. That may haved changed their minds.

I called the cop twice for noise. My front door neighbour have a '70's chevy truck that he had rebuild like a monster truck and that as¤¬¦old always try to tune his engine at midnight or 1:00 in the morning. I think everyone from 10 house of him called the cop for noise for music or burnout in his driveway all that after midnight. His wife work night shift in a pizza place so when she's gone he start his noise. Before they arrived this neighbourhood was very calme. When i work on my vette some time my next door neighbour come in and we have chat over a cold beer. That's the kind of neighbor it's fun to have not the fisrt one.

I would have started the car and asked the cop what he thought of the noise level, if he thought it was excessive I would have asked him to compare it to the noise level of a harley and then explain the difference.
