Can't trust anybody anymore. I just sent back a set of rods from one of our more "trusted" suppliers. They weren't high end.... about $260/set. But they were far lower quality than I would have expected from the very well known manufacturer. Opted to resize the old worn out rods instead. They are GM OEM and better quality than the aftermarket units I received. We have to look closely at everything we buy these days. Don't "***-u-me."

Just had this same conversation with Motorhead on another thread.
Seems like even BRAND NEW parts have to be sent out for checking. Quality control seems to be slipping everywhere
