If you're really lucky you can fish them up with a magnet. They make these magnets with flexible rods. Should be able to find one at an autoparts store.

You could turn the vette upside-down and shake it vigorously...

Other than pulling the dash apart to get in there, I would try the magnet for a few hours...

that's the easy way!
If you got an old speaker you can break off a piece of the magnet and use some electrical tape to tape the piece onto a wire hanger or something similar and fish them out. I have a device with a 4 pronged grabber on the end and it's flexible, it's saved my butt numerous times, sometimes I'll tape a magnet to the end to make it easier to grab an object. I believe I bought it at the hardware store.

It goes down to the distibution box located behind the center cluster....about where the radio is. You can remove the center cluster to get at it. Not to hard. Watch for the two bolts connecting the cluster to the console...the sides of the console have to be removed to get at them....some forget them and snap the plastic.
