$1500...I'm liking that. Though I think it might be more since I'd want an engine that has at most 30,000(want to keep it close to the actual miles of the vette, but I wouldn't mind going lower). Thanks for the link, I'll check it out right now. Did anyone ever put an LS6 in a C3?

I skimmed through your site. First of all, let me say very nice corvette. Your write up is also great. I can tell that it will be helping alot on my project(hopefully).

oh ok since my block was brand new and the heads, cam, crank pistons and rods had only 2000 miles from a 04 vette, new file to fit mahle rings,Ls6 intake, new ls6 oil pump, new cloyes chain and some brand new parts like front cover, valve covers etc...So really its pretty much brand new.

My site has some info and pics.

LS6 = LS1 with different heads and cam. It's pretty much the same swap. (Since I put the red Z06 covers on the engine, I usually tell people it's an LS6.

Wow, very nice. That's going to last you a long time. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you?

Same thing I'm using, except a intank 90'ish corvette pump. Napa sells them for about $35.

Im planning on getting a ls2 402 short block set up for 8.5:1 compression with some beefy internals and building it up into a turbo motor. Im leaning towards twin turbo now but havent ruled out a big single either. Im still in the planing stage right now. Im waiting on a couple of quotes for the short block and still have a huge amount of work to do on the car to bring it up to what I want. I decided to go with flares and some real wide 18" rims. Im going to pull the body and replace the rocker channels and por15 everything. Im looking forward to starting on the engine in the next couple of months.

I checked out your site. Very nice work. Very nice vette also. A LS6 would be nice but I think those heads and cam are going to be way too much.

Does any know if I'd be able to use my side exhaust with an LS-1? I doubt it, but there HAS to be a way inorder to make it work, right? Them pipes are so damn sexy.
