Default w/wiper problems on 70,help

Help, my wires coming out of wiper motor have been cut.(this is a 70 model) looks a small green wire and a larger black wire. where do these wires go? I jumped them and motor runs and parks. I have no power at the fuse box across the wiper fuse. Also when I turn on the wiper switch I can hear soleniods clicking. How can this click with no power across the fuse?(not sure wy no power at the fuse) The wires coming out of the wiper switch are dark blue, black, and 2 blue wires on same terminal. Can I take the two wires from the wiper motor and a hot wire from the fuse block and tie them in to the switch somehow and get them to work. any suggestions would be helpful. I have assembly manual but not much help on how all these wires tie together.
Thanks much

Don't recall a green wire on my 70. Could be wrong. Do you have 2 wires connected to the wiper washer ?

I know there's a red,(12 gauge?), from the pump, Want to say black and purple as well. I'll have to check. I think I have a piggyback black ground with the TCS system

As you have said, there's alot going on with the wiper system. I think the AIM engine wire scematic at least identifies the wires. Just not visual in a practical sense.

I'm looking at the 1970 electrical schematic now. The wiper motor shows 5 wires connected to it: 18ga. red to a terminal block that then is R/W/Dbl to the limit switch; 18ga. black to the heater blower (ground line); 18ga. light green to the firewall bulkhead connector (and to the wiper relay in the cockpit);18ga. yellow which goes to bulkhead connector to fuse panel to wiper solenoid (which is located behind the tach, I believe); and 18ga. light blue which also goes to the wiper solenoid, but directly from the bulkhead connector. [Note that I highlighted the two wires you asked about.]
Hope this was a help and not just more confusing.

Default Tech Manual Available

I had somewhat the same problem with my 71. I found a troubleshooting manual from Speed Hound Performance, they had a manual written just for fixing the wiper systems for 68-72 Vett's. It had the schematics pretaining to the complete wiper system. It worked for me!
