Mine are on the way. Bought from a forum member. I think I'm going to have them power coated black by a local shop. My car is black, so I think they'll look good that way. They currently have hi-temp black paint finish.

I had a set of chrome side pipes on order at mid america but cancelled it till I decide which way to go (they were out of stock anyway). What kind of price can I find stainless for? They said they couldn't get the stainless ones at mid america. If someone knows of a great deal on stainless please PM me with the vendor and the price - thanks!

I got mine from Jet_Hot in the Sterling finish. Well worth the money and look just as good as chrome IMO. See my signature pic.

Here is some pics when I installed. A lift isnt necessary, but This was the Minimum jackstand height I could get away with. They are topped out. Anything less caused problems one way or another. Its not a difficult install, but having the clearance to get fully under the car is definitely a real big plus.

I wasnt concerned so much about installtion , and what heppens after, like when i want to upograde my front suspesion, and i want to use a lift..... I was asking about clearance betweent eh pipes under the car and the lifing point either on the frame rails or teh rocker pannels

Humm good point. I always thought I would be restricted to a jack and jackstands for the rest of my life...but I'd like to think that one day I could win the lottery and buy a lift...which would raise the concern of the sidepipes. When I mocked up my setup the headers and sidetubes sat a little under the frame level so that would cause some issues with a power lifts arms. I would assume you might have to find thicker attachments for your lift that could serve as spacers to contact the frame without hitting the pipes. Good point though.

would someone be nice enough to take some pics from underneath with them installed. I have a two post lift and feel as though it will be an issue getting the lift arms positioned correctly.

Thanks!
