In the past I have used rather LARGE consensing coils from room a/c units, mounted in front of radiator, large enough to not need any radiator tank circuit.....
can't buy anything that size off the shelf.....
just make sure it's a 3/8 line in and out...

It will be going in a race car that no longer has the battery or storage box. I was thinking along the lines of a 1350 pinion yoke with a pulley connected to it. I have not actually seen the yoke in person to make any measurements. I was kind of wondering if anyone has ever gone that route as well. Here's a pic

VS, The stock car guys use a two stage dry sump pump that mounts to the front bearing carrier of a 9" ford diff and a yoke with a pully as you describe, you might look at an electric bilge pump as sold by Tilton.
