My 75 was running yesterday. It stalled and won't restart. The car cranks well, just won't catch. Was running well up to this point. New coil, cap and wires a couple of years ago.

Got spark at plugs?
Better yet; got lack of spark at plugs....but when key quits activating the starter, you get one spark?

Need more symptoms, lack of's, and what you have or have not checked to help.
Air, fuel, spark. It has to be one of them. Doesn't sound like fuel or air. Must be spark. Take a plug wire off and slide back the plug cover to expose the connector terminal. Using something to electrically insulate you from the wire, hold the terminal CLOSE to something grounded (engine block, etc.) and crank the car. If you don't see a spark jump, NO SPARK. Check rotor, cap, wiring connections, "hot" wire to the distributor..... If you do get a spark, squirt some fuel in the carb as you try to start it; it may be a carb problem.
