tadaaaa

Have to change the bolt for the upper arm to upright connection, it is an M16 bolt and needs a little misalignment spacer but I managed to bust up the threads on the freshly welded on threaded bung in the upright...aaarrghhhh!!! so I inserted an M14 bolt so it doesn't come apart. Should not have rushed the last bolt in before dinner damn damn

Also partially finished my rear bumper with some lightening holes (left side obviously not done yet) and a notch for the rear end cooler that mounts in the license plate frame

Marck, it's starting to look rather car-ish. Now you need to take it all back apart to powdercoat everything.

I think you should have spent a few extra bucks when you bought
your car and got the body option, guess you will just make your
own glass body.

Some more progress, gotta order a 3/4th hex tube for the front rod to replace the 5/8th I have there now. For the rest it's only mounting the shock on the arm, will have to fabricate a little 1/2" mount, not a real big deal and then it's done.

The geometry on the inside is perfect in alignment with the stub axle/u joint center (for the 2 control arms) but on the outside I had to adjust it, the upper mount couldn't be placed inboard as far as needed and as a result the stub axle moves a little bit inside and out so I will use viper type sliding axles so I can retain the stub axle clip in the diff and prevent seal, bearing and spline wear.

I also played around with the caliper placement a bit, looks like I'll have to remove the stock caliper bracket (meaning taking the freshly setup bearing assemblies apart )

TT, I'm afraid you've fallen to the dark side. Or, you messing with some kind of nasty voodoo stuff or something. Are you feeling alright boy?

This thing is going to be some kind of absolute beast when you get it done. Merlin's got nothing on this!
