Both drive flanges have u-joints installed and the clips in place. Both u-joints are moving without resistance.
The measured cap-to-cap distance was right on the specs posted earlier for the stock joints.
The clips are rather tight, but not utterly jammed. Now I've gotta work on the halfshafts. If I can have some luck there, this thing will be licked before long.
Now I just gotta find somebody local who knows what a C2/3 rear bearing assembly looks like...

Also, they usually have a Corvette expert or two at Perry. Used to be a great mechanic named Dave Mcnear. I think he retired but was teaching a younger new guy named Mad-Dog. Perry should have a guy who knows them well.
