weight savings between aluminum and copper/brass? Probably like 20 - 40 lbs. actually.
I believe the early 70's vettes had aluminum radiators to begin with, so there wouldn't be much weight savings there anyways.

My old one is brass-copper and the alum only feels about 5 pounds lighter when I hold them?? I think total shipping weight on the wrong copper that came in was under 20 pounds.??

Geez I'm way off. Was your radiator the kind with the two tanks on the sides and 4 copper rows?
