Default Push button love....

Ok, I know I have seen it on an old Trucks episode. The inline 3" exhaust Y pipe ... Pull up next to that WRX and press your cruse control button to open your headers up and remove all bottom pressure on your motor.. ohh, and leave the wrx in the dust.

What is that y pipe thing called....

Randommj - Maybe start with some pics of what you're talking about with the tops. Take pics of the misaligned areas so I can see better what you;re talking about. Maybe with enough info I can help walk you through it as if I were there.

Hey Randommj. My Mom did this, so it may work for you too. If you have more than four neighbors within a short range, this is a worth while investment. Go buy a wireless adapter for your computer, hook it up, and if it picks up a high speed wireless connection in your area...bingo...high speed internet.

If it doesn't pick anything up, return it for a refund. I have a full wireless network in my house, and I have a program that tells me who is using it besides me. I have it secured but they are easy to crack. I just watch, and all they do is use the bandwidth. No big deal. I neevr notice any lag.

AND about how much does a valve job run if the springs need to be replaced? is this anything i can do myself....im thinking its going to be REALLY in depth

I don't know about the 4" pipe and bending...but I would start by calling some exhaust shops. Also, along that same line...look up all machine shops in the area and get quotes for a valve job.

Machine shops will never disclose in full what will need to be done so when you pick up there are extra charges. It's better to ask a LOT of questions up front. Make sure you don't need new valves or parts. Make sure they test the heads before working on them.

Cover all your bases, and go with the best shop that has the best price.

Put in a call to Hooker and see if they will send you some 4" stock. They use it to make their side pipes.

The only thing you would get from Lowes is ground pipe and you could not use that. Did you try calling or emailing Hooker?
