I like the black lines you added to your FRC Scoot. That looks good. I may have to borrow that idea from you too.
Thanks. I bought the covers used from someone on the forum. They're stickers and I think he said that he bought them from some sponsor. You could probably do it with a paint pen if you have a steady hand.
Okay, just so you know you do not have to cut the throttle cable bracket to make fuel rail covers work. I do have a manual transmission so I don't need the kick down part of the bracket.
Its actually not a kick down cable, its for the cruise control. The F-bodies use a second throttle cable that runs from the cruise control module under the dash.

So for all you auto trans guys, cut the bracket.
NOt if you have a 700r4 like me,i have to use both so i modified it alittle bit to fit my tv cable too.

please tell me more about your 700r4... I have heard from a few that they are bad trannies but then I've heard from others that they are great trannies... please tell me what you like about it the most, the least, you rearend gear ratio and around how much HP you are producing....
It's an F-body T56 that I bought brand new at D&D Performance. They're only 15 minutes from my house. The shifter is an F-body Pro 5.0 that's been cut down and then I welded a couple of pieces of 3/8 steel to move the stick location.

Tomorrow I am going over to another buddies house and we are going to do the port and polish on my throttle body. I will probably never need that kind of airflow but I will have it just in case. Of course, pics will be taken and added to this thread.
Hey, I'm glad the LS thread is back around. I've been posting lately about the LS6 and C6 rims. I finally had time to go pick them up today. http://s187.photobucket.com/albums/x...t=DSC04030.jpg
The LS6 is out of a 405 HP 2003 Zo6 with 50K miles. The wheels are from an 2006 Vette.

I am sure I could have picked up a LS7 clutch for probably cheaper but for some reason I just wanted to have the aluminum flywheel. I bought this one used but it is so little used it still has the machine grooves in the faceplate and pressure plate. The faceplate material is replaceable in the SPEC setup in case I ever get froggy. This SPEC looked like it had a lot of life left in it and the price was very good considering what they cost new from SPEC. Other than that, there is no reason why I did not go for the LS7 clutch.
What I was wanting was to pick up a Fidanza flywheel and reuse my current clutch setup as it only has around 6k miles or so on it. I know it is not hurt.

You have done it now. You have two LS motors. So, which are you going to run, the camaro or the vette motor. The camaro motor is going to drop right in. You could swap oil pans and accessories and put the LS6 in and have a true LS6 motor in there. I am turning mine into a pseudo LS6.

That's cool. I was just checking to see if there was a big advantage with the SPEC clutch. I've never had any practical experience with either, but I went with a C5 Z06 clutch and flywheel on my '72 (C6 Z06 clutch wasn't around then).

He can use the batwing oil pan if he goes with a rack and pinion
Hey Glenn,
I am going to have to come up and see how you plan to fit TWO LSX's in a C3! That will be a first for sure.
Seriously though, re CA smog - do you think there is any way to pass the CA smog without the tank pressure sensor? I am close to going in - will have the electric air pump in, my 79 charcoal cannister, no codes (but does not complete the EVAP cycle - due no doubt to no tank press sensor, etc). I just bought a K&N cylindrical air filter that should be OK for smog (I hope).
