I also went with the dual-mount monospring. I have been pleased with it. I like the idea of adjustability. Too many times I read threads where a guy is asking if 360 would be better, or maybe 420, and then maybe they end up buying another one. I have moved my settings twice. I started out stiff for track set-up, softened it up for warm night cruises, and wish I had jack-bolts for the front springs now too! I am going to have to wrap the dual pipes under the spring now that hot weather is here.

Oh, and the sway bar is outta there! I would only run the bar with hard street tires. The drifting thing, ya know? With sticky tires it just gets scary at corner speeds.

...Interesting.

I guess C3 monospring is NOT the same as on the C4's?

Haven't heard of such problems with them; only not to use chemical solvents near same.

My car had a broken one on it when I first got it. It appears the damage was from backing into something.

Pretty hard to hit something solid with the spring, but if you do, it will easily break.

Still the advantages far out weigh the few short comings.

Yeah, well I haven't managed to hit bottom (quite) with my C4 and its a hell of a lot lower than my C3.

Bit of a concern tho that exhaust heat may affect spring - obviously not made by GM?
