Possible Carb Trouble

When I hit the brakes hard, the engine dies. If i catch it in time and pump the gas it will stay running. I have a Demon 750 with Mechanical secondaries on the car. Fuel pressure is 6 pounds and the float levels look right about half way up the sight glass while idleing. Any suggestions what to adjust?

Drop the float levels down to the bottom edge of the sight glasses and re-set idle mixture for that float level.
