Zainoed it about 2 months ago... took 3 days to do, but I haven't had to do anything but wash it since. Much better than the other stuff I used that lasted about 2 weeks, if that. Just now i was down in the garage and noticed there was some dried mug on the fender, touched it with my finger and it slid right off the car.  amazing stuff.

9K if L48, 10K if L82.
If the motor isn't original, then 8-9K, depending on condition.
How to tell if it's an L-48 or L-82:(assuming stock conditions)
L-82 tachometer says L-82 on it (fairly obvious).
L-82 emblems on the side of the hood rise, near windshield (very obvious, but could be added on)
Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner (the base of the air cleaner, that is the part below the lid, has two tubes coming out, one to above the radiator, the other to the passenger fender.)
Black finned Valve Covers (another obvious one, and another favorite for L-48 owners to add on.)
Aluminum(not blue) intake manifold. (If the owner rebuilt the motor, there's a good chance he swapped the intake, so, this might not be the case.)
The most assuring signs of validity are the L-82 emblem on the tach and a dual snorkel cleaner.
However, the NUMBER ONE sign of validity is in the VIN.
1Z87X8S90NNNN
If the X in that VIN is an L, it's an L-48. If it's an 8, L-82. I believe that's how it goes.
The 4 Ns are the car's build number, from 1-6502.

Can't help it if I'm stingy. :) Guess it's 'cuz I've already got one.
w/ 67K miles, you could expect to pay anywhere from 10-15 and not be considered completely insane.

10k for an AMC Pacer sounds a little steep!!!! (You may not have been born when the made those). Although they did become more popular after the Waynes World movie. Now a pace car for 10K sounds like a better deal. :D :D
