need spark plug help for '64
I'll soon be changing the spark plugs and wires on my '64 for the first time. Is it necessary to remove all of the shielding pieces attached to the block or can I get by with just removing the top shields held on with wing nuts? Any helpful tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply, however I don't think I made my question as clear as I should have. When I mentioned upper shielding, I meant the shields directly above the plugs, next to the exhaust manifold. The lower shields below that are the ones attached to the block (heat shields). Can the plugs be removed without the heat shields being removed too?

Like a fool, I realize I may have gotten more responses if I'd posted on the C2 Forum for my '64. Must have been sniffing too much exhaust fumes. Thanks anyway for your help. I'll probably be back here again some time with questions on my '69!
