spider cracks

I have a 1976 corvette that looks amazing with one flaw, spider crack. Without striping the whole car and painting it, I was wondering if there is anyone who knows touch up the spider cracks? It looks like this:

Sorry, there is no way that I know of to fix that kind of cracking. I have the same problem on my black '77 and I will just have to wait until I can afford to paint the whole car.

Yeah, I agree. It probably wasn't preped right when it was last painted.

the nose on my 78 has a few of those. very unappealing.

You will need to strip and re-paint the car.

Everyone is right on. No one has the magic to fix that paint. Sorry.

Nice lightning bolts. Actually your car may look better primered. Vettes look cool with chrome wheels and primer.

Any idea how many coats of paint is on that? That finish appears to be a case of paint which is too thick.

I had a neighbor once had a black car (cannot remember what type of vehicle). He had a lot of scratches in it. He would use a black colored wax and it seemed to hide a lot of his paint issues-

Just a thought- will not fix the cracks but maybe it will hide them for the time being.
