tail light not as bright

the right side tail light is not as bright when u hit the breaks and when u turn on the left blinker the right side running light goes off .thanks everything else works fine

Make sure the bulb in that light is the same as in the others. If the bulb is not your problem, it is likely due to a poor ground (corroded connection) or dirty bulb socket contacts.

I had to replace one of the light sockets on my vette. It was an easy and cheap fix

The ground wires on the back of each taillight housing have caused this problem for me most of the time or the sockets.

With all the above posts. Clean the sockets real good, and run a little fine sand paper over the nubs on the bulbs. You can also put some of that electrical grease (for lack of a better name) on the bulbs before you plug them in. I did it and that was 4 years ago. No more problems. Grounding is the biggest problem with C-3 lights.
