Guys i need your help. I have always wanted a 4 speed 69 GTO and i found one that this guy want to trade stright across for my car but it need paint ect. Do you think i should do it?
The guy has a couple negative feedbacks. Unless you see and drive this car I wouldn't touch it. It looks like it needs lots of work including a paint job $$$$$
I wouldnt do it. Ive owned both cars and the vette rules over the goat. Secondly, your car looks great and is ready to drive and enjoy. The goat needs lots of work. If you really want a goat, sell your car and then take your time finding the right one.
With all due respect. You have got to be out of your mind to even consider trading even for that car. IMHO. I dont know what the GTO's are going for but that car does not look worth 7500.00 even at the buy it now price. Your car is a much nicer car then that.

It's not a bad looking goat. Does he have any actual proof that it is actually a GTO or just a clone? Years ago I restored a 70 GTO and there are an awful lot of parts that are pretty hard to find. If it is a numbers matching GTO it will probably be worth quite a bit of money if it were totally restored. Your vette from the looks of it is a much cleaner car. It's a hard choice because I like both of them. Good luck choosing.
I was going to go look at it tomorrow but now im not sure. Been looking for a goat but I dont think this is the one. I have had the car posted for about 2 weeks and not a one call on it

Good advice, I'am sure the GTO owner would just love to trade for your ride!
You would be loosing a very nice Vette and getting a car that needs a LOT of work. You will probably regret the trade one day! I would PASS!~!!!!! Save the cash keep your car and then grt the GTO.
Check the VIN and trim tag and make sure the info agrees it's a GTO. Lots of 'phony' GTO's made out of other mid-size Pontiacs. The front bumper on that car just doesn't look right; you can't just put an Endura nose on a LeMans and end up with a GTO. [It's hard to tell from the photo....]
Have you lost your mind? Look at what you've got, and I don't even like rubber bumpers, but that is a damn nice car you've got, keep it. Tell him to pound sand!!!

I agree with everyone else on this one. This guy is going to be out there driving around in your vette you have put all the hard work in to and you are going to be setting at home putting hard work into his old car. I would keep my vette rather than trade for that GTO. Keep looking this is not the one to trade for.
Well guys i have to agree i took her out for a crusie to night and she just looks so good!! Ill just keep my eyes out and look but hey there is no rush
Don't do it, your vette is in great shape, the gto is not You will have to put a lot of time and $ in it to get it close to the shape your vette is in.
