Default Center Bolt Torque
Plan on starting my Vortec head swap soon. What's the center bolt valve cover torque specifications?

I'd guess more like 5 lb-ft (60 in-lbs.). Too much torque would not allow the bolt/nut to tighten and maybe even crack the cover.
