Adequate, but it won't replace the AIM or electrical manuals. It's just one other book that is good to have around.

Good luck.

Yeh, its adequate- a good start and a cheap price- it trys to cover all the C3's. but lacks a lot of specificity.

AIM and factory service manual for your year are best, by far, followed by Motorbook's Corvette 1966-1982 Shop Manual.

Factory manual = Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual
A.I.M. = (Corvette assembly facility) Assembly Instruction Manual
Haynes = nothing...if you have the other two.

Yes.

When I got the Corvette I was already building engines & running 2 hot rods w/ BB & SB. What I wanted was info. on the I.R.S. & 4 wh. discs. like torque specs. & a wiring diagram. Bought the first Corvette repair book I saw & the wiring diagrams from the dealer.

That one should have the wiring diagrams.

Hi Ryan,
I agree that once you have the AIM... Assembly Instruction Manual and the GM Chassis Service Manual you won't use the Haynes book.

Alan
