I've checked the fuses. All good. I can turn the light switch all the way to the left and the dome floor lights go on. I'm hoping it's only the light switch. Has anybody had with problem. Before I start removing something I don't need too.
Put a test light on the INST lamp fuse and turn the headlights on and rotate the **** back and forth-test both sides of the fuse. If you dont have power at the fuse then it could be in the headlight switch. If you DO have power at the fuse then your problem will be in the dash or the wiring or the printed circuit going to the dash lights.

As a follow up, if you do or don't have power to the fuse, you’ll need to pull the cluster anyway to get to the wires or the switch.
This should only take you a half an hour or so to pull. But before you take out the headlamp check the wire on the cluster connector for power. This wire in the connector is the fourth wire down from the top on the driver side. Also check the fingers that the connector makes contact with, sometimes they will be corroded and/or messed up from someone else being in there.
If this fails, I would go directly to the headlamp switch by reaching inside the speedo tach hole and un-plug the connector.
