Default 76 350 manifold install help

I removed the exhasut manifolds and ready to put a new exhaust systems on. However, I not sure how the manifold is supposed to go back together. I ordered new studs and bolts. Is there a recommended way to remove old studs? also which side manifold do the studs attach to. Can someone point to a good diagram of how the manifolds go back together in terms of the studs and spacer.
Thanks

This picture should do it for you. You will need lots of PB Blaster and heat to get the old studs out. Might be easier to take them to a local muffler shop and have them remove them. Also, the long studs go on the left manifold with the heat riser.

If you don't drive in the cold weather, you don't need the heat riser heating up the bottom of the carb.

The heat riser valve froze in the closed position and the PO didn't know how to free it up or didn't want the expense of buying a new valve.

BTW...For '76, cars without A.I.R. pumps will have spacers installed in place of heat risers. I think some people call these Federal cars (vs. California).
