The factory Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM) has 300+ pages of drawings and I believe some of the vendors have electronic versions; they are model year specific Are you just looking for a reference for working on your car? The AIM is a "must have".

Since a hitch wasn't a factory option I don't believe there would be any GM drawings.
I'd guess they were an aftermarket item. Have you looked through any of the larger vendor catalogues to see if they offer one?
I think after that I'd go to the hitch manufacturers for help.

I believe that there was a dealer option trailer hitch for a Corvette in the '70s. It was not a factory option. That being the case, just take the car to a reputable hitch installer and have one made to fit. {I assume this is for a cart to haul the beer and chips in...}
