Like others in this thread, I have a high-horse, high-torque engine, and I run a complete PCV system with breather. I hid the PCV and the breather towards the back of the engine so it's not real visible;

Screw-in style PCV from a '66 Nova with a fabricated baffle inside the valve cover spacer:

Breather is installed in the opposite bank to allow correct crankcase flow-through and ventilation:

System is not visible from the front. Engine dyno'd at 496 hp and 500ft/lbs torque with PCV and vacuum advance:

Yes that looks very cool, can you get that March bracket for the alternator for the other side and will it line up to our stock C3 pulleys ?

now thats a very clean look lars my next big build i am gonna have to steal that one

love that air clear cap too! if i leet you tune my car do i get one of those lol.

did you have to punch the hole in the high rise for your line or did that intake already have a plug there?

that what i wanna do is hide my PCV torwards the rear but on a stock L-48 the PCV is hosed to the large port on the front of the Q-Jet. i cleaned up alot of the vacuum lines and re-routed them to clean the front up just can't hide that big chunk of hose that lays on my waterneck for the PCV. And to flip the valve cover around to put it in the back means i would have to run a line all the way around the carb. I might just have to live with it.

MOtorhead i believe summit sells a set-up with a heim adjuster like thta for the stock C3 side

Wayne -
The "standard" March setup is for the driver's side. I couldn't find the passenger side setup in the catalog, so I just called the March tech line: Nice thing about that company is that they have real people who answer the phone, and the people who answer the phone are actually technically competent..! A marvel in today's world... I simply told the guy what I had, what I wanted, and he gave me the part numbers right off the top of his head. He also asked me relevant, intelligent questions that further got me all the parts I needed for the setup - I really recommend you give those guys a call - I just pulled the phone number off their web site. Very good quality stuff, and everything lines up. I asked their tech guy if I could get a discount if I ordered from him, and he told me to go to Summit for the best pricing... I love an honest person...

The Victor manifold has no penetrations in it. I drilled and tapped the rear for the PCV connection, and I also drilled and tapped a port into the passenger side of the plenum for a manifold vacuum connection (for diagnostics, setup and vacuum advance). Not having any hoses connected to the carb allows the carb to be removed in less than a minute for quick alterations and tuning.

Actually, the "Tuned by Lars" decals are handed out to everyone whose cars I work on during the "Tuning for Beer World Tour." I believe "MotorHead" had one before he changed his engine out... The decals were made up by the San Antonio Vette guys for the Tuning Tour down there one year.
