I think we all learn from the forum.......whether we are giving or receiving help.

Many times, I find myself reading a post to see if I would have answered it right....based on the other's feedback.

Outside of this Forum, I receive on average 50-75 tech request e-mails per day, and many of these e-mails are actually people simply sending a personal "thank you" for assistance received. Being involved in this Forum can be a frustrating experience when the same question is asked dozens of times. We also have "experts" here who will argue fundamental engineering facts and basic automotive engineering science. If it weren't for people sending an occasional note of appreciation and reminding me that some of my efforts are worthwhile, I would not bother giving my time to this Forum. A note of appreciation actually offsets the idiots and the moronic comments that have chased away many of the competent technical contributors from this Forum.
