Default Info on Head serial #

I've got a question concerning serial numbers: The engine (350) block and and right side head are matching numbers for my 72, but the left head has a serial number that I cannot find.
The serial number is 373487x GM44 I71, anyone have any ideas what this head may have come from (car)?

Hi 72v,
I don't see that number either.
The info I have is just for Corvettes so it's not very extensive.
I did notice that casting numbers beginning with 37....seem to have stopped in 63-64.
Hopefully someone else will be able to help you figure out what you have.
Regards,
Alan

Sure it's not 3973487? Pretty common heads in the early 70s.

3973487X = 350cui 1971-72 75cc chamber
I71 = September 7. 1971

I have to off those on my 72 although mine is date coded M78

Default Re-check that number, hoss.

I'll bet it's probably a 3973487X from a '71-'72 350ci with 75cc chambers. Look closer.
