I am getting interior parts ready and my door pulls don't match, the distance between fastener holes do not match? See picture, Could one be for C2?
Big one is 5 3/8" Small one 4 5/8" matches my new door panels.
They shouldn't be, although I have found some repos to be smaller in size. Being rubber they will stretch to fit, at least mount up. The original handle was used on 65s. Then in 69, when they decided to use it again, they used the left hand for the right on a 69 up car. The part number for the left and right handles are the same number but the right goes on the left on the C3 cars.

65 and 69-77 door pulls are the same, except that for 69 up, the one marked left goes on the right and the one marked "R" goes on the left.
After 30 years of use, original ones do get stretched all out of shape.
The pull at the top of your photo appears to have the ends bent outward. There is a metal strip inside the part. See if you can bend the ends so that it has the same spacing as the one at the bottom of your photo. If they are just 'worn out', replace them. You may need to re-dye the new ones to the correct color for your interior.
The radius of the one on the bottom looks to be a bit more than the top one and the ends as 7t1 said look to be bent outward a bit. The combination of the two may be your problem.
When we install them we do the top hole first, and a bit at a angle.
Once the top is tight we turn it to the correct position and then pull downward to get the lower hole.
The hardest part about installing the handles is making the panel mate up to it properly. When you tighten the upper and turn it you have to manipulate the door panel foam a bit. Crush it to hard and it will not match up.
But I think if you start at the top and then do the bottom you'll find the handle will fit just fine.
