Default Coil Condensor

I need to replace the condensor that is mounted on my stock coil bracket. Is there anything special about the condensor or can I just buy it anywhere? Which wire does it connect to on the coil?

Hi j,
The condenser wire runs to the positive post on the coil.
I'm not sure about 'universal' replacements.
Regards,
Alan

Alan is correct, it goes on the positive terminal. It is called a radio capcitor.
Standard Ignition has them, I believe it is either RC-1 or -2. The only difference is one has a female spade and the othe one has an open eye.

The ignition condenser is inside the distributor. The condenser mounted on the coil is just there to help reduce the ignition noise in the radio signal. If you really need to replace it for its intended purpose, go to Radio Shack and ask them for an auto radio noise suppressor capacitor. If you don't have any ignition noise in the radio output, don't replace it.
