I'm working on a 1974 corvette. The whole right side is lower than the left. I've changed the shocks, springs, lower ball joints and as suggested checked the bushings and they were OK. I welcome any and all help with this problem. Ron
Hi Ron,
Have you tried to get a look at the body mounts? Or is that what you meant by 'bushings'.
If they're extremely deteriorated that could allow the body to sag on one side.
How much is the difference and did you notice any problem before you began your refurbishment?
Regards,
Alan
My problem was ultimately solved by replacing the body mounts. Drivers side mounts were flat from age, and had zero or 1 shim each mount. Pass side mounts were NOT flat and had 4 or 5 shims each. The assembly line people must have been drunk that day ???
