Default 69 Stingray drivetrain

New guy here, will be removing the engine to add about 500 hp. Interested what others have done to make the drivetrain stronger. It will be a driver but will see some backwoods driving at our 1/4 mile area.
It has the original Muncie and 336 gears in the ham. I will probably sub that work out but not sure about my locals, good with pickups but not corvettes?

Yeah wow, with 800hp and you will need a racing type gear box, like a Jerrico or tex racing.
A friend of mine has a 800hp + 1970 C3, he has had to build a entire new rear end, custom half shafts and axles, had a 9 inch centre made, has spent serious $$.
The other issue I have seen with big HP vettes is the body cracking due to the chassis twisting with all that torque, a well designed roll cage helps.
