Maybe think about doing a little polish on those scratches. They have a sharp edge, sharp things in the combustion chamber get hot, hot causes detonation.......
And right behind that, cracks start at sharp edges easier.

I'm going to run a Dremel tool with a polishing stone very lightly over the length of each scratch.
