I want to not continue using the smog pump and egr, my brother says I can just cap everything off from the egr and smog pump but I was wondering if there is anything else I may need to know when getting rid of this stuff, such as; will the stock carburator need to be adjusted?
The carburator was my main concern but any related information is helpfull.
Fill out your profile so we know what specific model you own and where you are located. Once someone tells you exactly how to remove all that junk, drop it in a Large Flat Rate box and PM me. I'll pay the freight to get it all to me, or if by chance you are local I'll come help you strip it off if I can have the leftovers.

Why do you want to "get rid of all the stuff?" Is there a purpose for the decision to "cap it off?" There is no noticable power penalty to the EGR or A.I.R. systems, so you gain nothing by hacking it up. You can run your distributor off manifold vacuum and do a good tune on the ignition and carb systems per my papers, and the car will run as good is it ever will without getting into engine mods - and that's without Bubba-izing any of the existing systems.
If you do decide to "get rid of it," please put me as #2 on the list behind markskids77 to get the stuff. I'll pay shipping, too, if you send me all your emissions stuff off the car!
