Lower valance color

Hi guys, My car is missing the lower valance with spoiler. Do you know the right color of the lower valance? black or car color? thanks

If you speak of the part that the air hits head on when driving, mine is black(different from car). the part that spoiler is connected to is same as car

Hi I-d,
I believe all 74 Corvettes had a valance panel and a black plastic spoiler to help with directing air through the radiator.

It was original to the car with the same color as the vehicle. It can be mangled by curbs and junk laying in the road. I have repaired and repainted my once. Some drivers have removed it entirely.

I guess from reading some other posts, the color is optional. I kinda like flat black for love bugs that will smash into it. plus any scrapes don't really show up(since the plastic is black all the way through)
