My next project is a Wilwood front brake/rotor upgrade for the 78 L-82
The car IS a 25th Silver Anniversary so "WE" know the two-tone color scheme.
Would a Red caliper set look too ostentatious?
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks

The D8-4 and D8-6 calipers are available in "clear anodized" and since the calipers are aluminum they are silver. That would be my 1st choise. Next would be black.

Brake calipers always seemed like an odd thing to highlight on a car to me. The last car I saw with red calipers was a new Porche, it was all blacked out , paint, windows, wheels except for the calipers. bright red. I guess he wanted everybody to know the car can stop...
I would go natural or black unless you have a theme in mind.
As johnt365 points out:
The first awareness I personally had w/ highlighted cqalipers WAS Porsche.
Then, some Vettes during the 80s.
Perhaps it will be the BLACK...
Pics of MOD to come soon.

Brake calipers aren't a pretty thing on a car, I never understood why anyone wanted to draw attention to them - any colour other than red.
Owners only paint their calipers bright colors because they cost a lot more money than stock components, and they want to show their wealth. In my book, it's "tacky". But, to each his/her own.

Oops, I have been called "Tacky"...I always thought they were complimenting me...!!
