It all sounds good but they are not as advertised. Cams are to big. Head flow is short and they need more compression than an L48 will provide with a powerband higher than the stock internals and gearing will match up with. Poor choice unless you have a low mile L82 with a low gear.
A 64cc head is too low of compression and last time I checked the cam is no where near the bottom of the page. If I recall, it wasn't even .220 duration @.050. The heads had very good review especially in the low end torque rating and everyone is running edelbrock manifolds without complaints. American made is just a bonus
Why not rebuild your engine and go by "The Miserly Mouse" article. It's inexpensive, using Vortek Heads, and you get 390 hp on pump gas. IMO, f/ the cost, it's the best way.
